Valentine's Day Epiphany

"VALENTINE'S DAY" The day in time in which someone said that on this day (Feb 14) everyone will choose one person in which they show love, gratitude, or some gesture of caring deeming them their "valentine">FUCKING INSANE RIGHT!! LOL<< Two weeks after it came out a bitter ME finally went to see this movie entitled Valentine Day, no this isn't a movie review but something in that movie struck a cord and I must admit it had me thinking through out the movie. Ashton Kutcher's character at one point asks his friend how did him and his wife get it right the first time (in reference to marriage) and his response was "that's simple I married my best friend"

To some this statement might just seem cliche but to me it kinda made since. We all have best friends in which we have similar qualities, likes, dislikes and no matter what it seems like that we can always look past our "BFF's flaws or no matter how many times we fall out we seem to always have a bond that seems unbreakable, a bond in which we are tying to create with a "soul-mate right?

Now in my case I seem to have a best friend for every mood swing that I have depending on what day it is. I have someone to call on if I need relationship advice, one for money, another for family problems, this one for education advice, and my favorite "BFF" is the one I go partying with. So in a case like mines where there isn't just one person with that bond that's so strong that no matter what title you but on the relationship it is destined to last...how do we get that luxury of getting a successful relationship the first time around? For example when it comes to this particular best friend I know that he is going to try to talk to everyone that Ive previously talked to, and then BFF number 2 is straight so i always feel like we are in two different places in our life but I wouldn't trade that friendship for nothing in the world!

My question is how do you overcome the same possible mistakes that a "soul-mate and a "best friend" may commit so that regardless of the title-the relationship itself would last, and secondly how do you determine(if you had to) which BFF had the strongest possibility or charecteristics in being the "got it right the first time around" candidate for a happy or successful relationship?

I'm no spoke person for Valentine Day honestly to me it shouldn't even be around but I did get some good food for thought from watching the movie and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as i did..let me know what you think!
